A place to begin

A few thoughts on starting small and making space for what comes next.

Every project starts somewhere. Sometimes it’s a notebook full of ideas. Sometimes it’s a conversation that stays with you. For us, it started with a simple question: what would we like to make more room for?

Start with what matters

We wanted a place to share our work and the thinking behind it. Somewhere that feels welcoming, reads easily, and leaves the focus on the words.

We began with three things:

  • A clear introduction to who we are.
  • A little context about how we work.
  • A space to write as we go.

That felt like enough to begin.

Leave room for change

There’s no need to work out every detail before taking the first step. A small, useful beginning gives you something to learn from.

Make the first version clear enough to use and simple enough to change.

We’ll keep adding notes here as our work takes shape. You can read more about our story in the meantime.
